The Saturday Forensic Forum is a monthly meeting to discuss psychotherapy with complex patients in difficult settings.
The Saturday Forensic Forum aims to create a non-intimidating, informal, interested and interested space to discuss all aspects of psychotherapy with complex patients in difficult settings.
The purpose of the forum is to understand the nature of psychotherapy; how it is being practiced and its future. We consider whether psychotherapy is relevant to more than the worried well? If so, is the psychotherapuetic community successfully rising to the challenge of these complex patients in difficult settings?
Each Saturday Forensic Forum will have an experienced practitioner leading a discussion on a variety of topics. Topics have and will include, but are not restricted to, prison, refugee centers, the NHS, charity and third sector settings, a specific case or a client population, ethical dilemmas, research, therapeutic models in application and the legal/psychotherapy interaction.
